Notations in IRT Cronista are reusable text entries organized into categories. Use them to record inspection details consistently, such as location, equipment, findings, and recommended actions, without repeatedly typing the same text.
Categories, sets, and image selections
A category groups related entries. A notations set contains the categories and their available entries. For example, a set could include:
·Location: Warsaw, Munich, New York.
·Equipment: Pump starter, Motor controller, Lighting breaker.
·Problem Class: No fault, Possible fault, Fault.
For each image, select the entries that describe it. Depending on the category type, you can select one entry or several. Images can share the same notations set while using different selections.
Using notations in IRT Cronista
You can edit image notations in Organizer or Analyzer mode. In Organizer mode, the Notations window shows the notations for the focused image - the image displayed in Preview.
Use Comments for free-text details that are not covered by the reusable entries. Report templates can include an image's selected notations and comments.
Where notations come from
In IRT Cronista, the available notations depend on the current folder's settings and any inherited notations:
·Shared Notations provides the default notations when neither the folder nor its parent folders specify another set.
·Notations Briefcase stores reusable notations sets that you can link to folders.
·Folder Notations stores notations with the images in a folder. Depending on the inheritance settings, these can be combined with notations from parent folders and made available to subfolders.
·A report template can also supply a notations set if it contains one.
Use Notations Set at the top of the Notations window to review the current folder's notations sources or choose another set. Choosing a set determines which entries are available; selecting entries assigns them to an image.
